JACOB DAHLGREN X MICHAEL VU 2026/27
Communing is the act of coming together, sharing thoughts, feelings and time, Communal is what happens when this becomes something shared - when the individual becomes part of a group of 2 or more: a room, a table, a moment.
Communal is at the centre of CONG CONG. A shared space where relationships can develop over time, creating new conversations, experiences and memories. Through the artist, the artwork and the people around it, something begins to exist that none of them could have created alone. BLUNDLUND is the curating artist at CONG CONG, where one artist inhabits a space for one year, First out is Jacob Dahlgren.
Here, a new relationship begins. Through time, repetition and encounter, new memories are created. We explore what these memories can do to a relationship, to an artwork and to the person experiencing it.
